The Community-UAlberta Research Connect portal was developed by Community Service-Learning (CSL) and the Kule Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS) to help facilitate relationships that create respectful and mutually beneficial research collaborations between the community and UAlberta faculty members. Submit your project idea and our staff will help you connect with potential collaborators! Research projects can be small or aim big, and take the form of advice or consultation, research on best evidence or practices, community-driven student research projects, or large community-university partnerships.

The personal information requested on this form is collected under the authority of Section 33(c) of the Alberta Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and will be protected under Part 2 of that Act.

Personal information collected through the site by means of your voluntary submission is used for the purpose of responding to and verifying your submission. The project partners do not collect personal information for marketing or distribution to any private organizations, and we will only contact you via email in case we need to verify your submission. We may share your project question and affiliation with potential community/research partners in the matchmaking process, but we will not share your name or contact detail without your approval.

Please be aware that messages sent via the Internet can be intercepted. Information collected will be stored on servers inside Canada. Please direct any questions about this collection of information to kias@ualberta.ca.
